Beloved. Everyone born in this planet earth have entered into a temporary abode that he or she must leave one day and go back home. Some go prepared while others go unprepared. It is not a matter of no money for transport. Whether you have transport money or not, you must go, job or not, you must go, master or servant, you must go. Rich or poor, you must go. Whether or not you are doing well in life or not, you must go home one day. We live in a secular age, time perceived without any concept of eternity. Many people spend more time preparing for a two week vacation than for where they will spend eternity. Hebrews 9:27 says ‘and as it is appointed unto men once to die after the judgment’. It is inevitable that you must go home and face judgment. There is only one airline that is approved to carry the rich, poor, church goers, cult person, Idol worshipper, and atheist, all the members of religious and non-religious bodies and that is DEATH. It has no specific airport; rather it has power to pick you at any point, anywhere, anytime and anyhow. When are you going home? As you are going home, you must leave all your hand work here on earth and everything you have earned (your money, house(s), certificate, cars, jewels, positions etc.) to others even your enemies. (Eccl. 2:17-19) All that you did in life time are long gone (Eccl. 9:3-5). You are gone forever from your home, never to be seen again (Job 7:7-10) gone like breath of wind that never return (Psalm 78:39b). Our days on earth are like grass; like wild flowers, we bloom and die (Psalm 103:15). Redemption does not come easily, for no one can ever pay enough to live forever and never see the grave. Those who are wise must finally die, just like the foolish and senseless, leaving all their wealth behind. The grave is their eternal home, where they will stay forever. They may name their estates after themselves, but their fame will not last. They will die just like animal. Psalm 49:8-12. Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be, remind me that my days are numbered-how fleeting my life is. All life would cease and humanity would turn again to dust. God will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing whether good or bad. (Eccl 12:14). For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body (2 Cor 5:10). Our earthly importance does not give an entrance to the presence of God. We must come as sinners. Each person has to do individually with God. Are you alright with God and do you consciously enjoy him? Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior so that He will give you power to overcome sin, live a holy life and be a child of God (John 1: 12}, and be prepared for eternity home call.
